- FM TRAFFIC COMPATIBLE -The Portable Car GPS device receives (or is capable to receive) alerts about traffic tie-ups, road construction or obstacles that lie ahead on your route. Traffic updates are provided thru free or subscription based services designated by the Car GPS device manufacturer. Fee based subscription services typically receive more detailed alerts about traffic tie-ups, road construction or obstacles that lie ahead on your route. Data is typically provided thru fee based subscription services designated by the GPS device manufacturer and may include advanced weather, news and local events information.
- INCLUDES LIFETIME MAPS -The nuvi Portable Car GPS device includes free lifetime map updates for the life of the device.
- LANE ASSIST -Lane guidance feature provides you with what lane you are or should be travelling in preparation for upcoming turns.
- MP3 PLAYER -Device is able to play MP3 encoded audio sources. Photo Viewer-Device is able to display JPG file format images.
- FM TRANSMITTER -The GPS device is able to transmit audio....including directions, MP3 music and audiobooks from the GPS device to your car radio.
- CHOICE OF ROUTE SETUP -The GPS Unit allows you to enter custom destinations into the device in order to assist you in travelling to multiple destinations in the shortest time possible during one trip.
- GIVE VOICE COMMANDS -These particular GPS devices accept voice commands from the user that will prompt the GPS device to take action and report situations.

- CUSTOM POIs -Maps for most newer GPS devices typically include a basic selection of POIs (points of interest) for the map area. Resources exist that will distribute of POI data that end-users can load onto their devices to replace or supplement the existing POIs.
- PHOTO NAVIGATION -Garmin Portbale car GPS nuvi models with this feature will display photos of tagged objects, structures, locations or geography to enhance the visual info to the user.
- PICTURE VIEWER -These nuvis will display jpeg formatted digital images that typically can be loaded into the GPS device thru the data slot.
- HEADPHONE JACK -The device has an audio output jack for use with headphones.
- # OF WAYPOINTS -The maximum number of waypoints the device will use when calculating a route.
- # ROUTES -The maximum number custom routes that the user can enter into the nuvi portable car GPS device.
